02 / THE OPPORTUNITY

Role Overview

The Content Creator will be responsible for taking content ideas from concept to publish-ready video.

The role covers ideation, scripting, shooting and editing of short-form video content for major social platforms.

The successful candidate should be able to independently create content using a smartphone without relying on an external videographer or editor.

03 / WHAT YOU WILL DO

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop creative and engaging short-form video concepts.
  2. Write scripts, hooks and storylines for video content.
  3. Shoot high-quality video content using smartphones.
  4. Appear on camera where required.
  5. Independently edit videos into publish-ready content.
  6. Create content that communicates the company's products, services and customer experiences.
  7. Create business, customer, entertainment and educational content.
  8. Monitor relevant social media trends and identify opportunities for the brand.
  9. Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns and customer acquisition initiatives.
  10. Maintain a consistent production schedule of approximately 5–7 short-form videos per week.
  11. Review content performance and use insights to improve future content.

04 / WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Requirements

  1. 2+ years experience in content creation, video production, social content or a related field.
  2. Strong ability to create engaging short-form video content.
  3. Must be able to independently handle ideation, scripting, shooting and editing.
  4. Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Facebook content.
  5. Must be comfortable creating content with a smartphone.
  6. Strong storytelling and communication skills.
  7. Ability to appear confidently on camera where required.
  8. Strong understanding of hooks, audience retention and social media trends.
  9. Ability to work independently and consistently meet content targets.
  10. Must be based in Lagos and available to work fully on-site.
